At Orbis Pacific we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through orbispacific.com, why we use it, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights.

02Data we collect
- Data you provide in the contact form: name, company, email address, country, product or service of interest, preferred language and the content of your message.
- Data you provide when you email us directly or use the ethics line.
- Minimal technical data (IP address, date and time of the request) used only for website security and to prevent automated submissions.
We do not request sensitive data and ask that you do not include it in your messages.
03How we use your data
- To answer your enquiries and quote requests.
- To prepare commercial proposals and, if a relationship follows, to manage it.
- To comply with legal obligations, including know-your-customer, anti-money laundering and international sanctions requirements.
- To protect the website against fraud, abuse and cyberattacks.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it to send you marketing without your permission.
04Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, given by ticking the box on the form; the need to take steps at your request before entering into a contract; compliance with legal obligations; and our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
05Who we share your data with
- The Orbis Pacific group company relevant to your request, so that it can handle it.
- Providers of web hosting and email services, who act on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
- Public authorities, when required by law or court order.
06International transfers
Given the international nature of our business, your data may be processed in countries other than your own. In those cases we apply appropriate safeguards so that it remains protected to a standard equivalent to this policy.
07How long we keep your data
Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are kept for a maximum of 24 months. Customer and supplier data is kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the periods required by law. Technical security logs are deleted periodically.
08Your rights
You may ask us at any time to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update it.
- Erase it when it is no longer needed or you withdraw your consent.
- Object to or restrict its processing.
- Receive it in a structured format to transfer it to another controller.
- Withdraw your consent.
To exercise these rights, email info@orbispacific.com with the subject "Data protection". We will reply within the time limits set by applicable law. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may contact the data protection authority in your country, such as the ANPD in Brazil or your national supervisory authority in the European Union.
09Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to information and technical measures against misuse of our forms. No system is infallible, but we review these measures regularly.
11Minors
Our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version will always be published here with its update date.
